Courchevel le Praz
We love Le Praz because, in spite of being in one of the most exclusive resorts in the world, it’s still a traditional village.
Children go to school, shops sell local produce, tourists and locals share spaces in the ski lifts and at the bars…

The Three Valleys Ski Area
Two fast bubble lifts make Le Praz the gateway to the Three Valleys where another 200 ski lifts and thousands of personnel keep over 600km of groomed pistes in top condition. The terrain caters for all levels of ability ranging from long, wide groomed pistes and easy lifts to challenging mogul fields, steep couloirs and bags of off piste for those mighty powder days.
For snowboarders, the snow parks of Courchevel and Meribel are among the best in Europe whilst the varying terrain means that you can always pick a route that won’t involve hiking around the mountain!
We always ask if we can join you for some time on the slopes early in your stay in order to show you some of our favourite spots and to help you to get your bearings if you are new to the resort.
All of our properties are within 400 metres of the lifts which takes you straight up into Courchevel 1850. From here you can access the entire Courchevel valley, hop over to Meribel or ski down to La Tania or Le Praz. One of the nicest runs is down to our Chalet Pige at the end of a day’s skiing. Tree lined pistes, some of the prettiest in the Three Valleys, lead you to the village of Le Praz and to within 20 metres of the chalet in normal snow conditions.
The traditionally good snow, north facing slopes and extensive network of snow cannons that service the pistes enable you to ski back to the village throughout the season.
For non-skiers, walking and cross country skiing tracks wind their way through the woodlands and around the ice-covered lakes, popping out to discover fantastic views or watch the downhill pistes. A modern system of bubble lifts and cable cars allow access to the highest peaks, even on foot.
