Overview: A tour or the ridges, canyons and valleys of the Ardèche region with a rest day, options day and a day to attempt the famous Mont Ventoux in the Rhone Valley. 40-60 miles/day (60-100km).

Saturday
Arrival and orientation.
Sunday. Bernas to Vals les Bains:

This route takes in the Ardeche Gorge and then heads north to the spa town of Vals Les Bains. A stunning ride by the gorge and then a couple of good uphills towards the end of the day.
Monday. Langogne to Thines:

Starting with a short drive up to the reservoir, this ride warms up with a circuit of the artificial lake before a seies of short climbs to the ridgetop village of Thines.
Tuesday. Maurice sur la Thines to Vagnas:

A sustained effort into the Cevennes National Park followed by a good long climb over the Col du Mas de l’Ayre then on to the village of Vagnas via the ridges above Les Vans and the pretty town of Lablachere.
Wednesday. Day off.
A day to relax and take some time out of the saddle. Clients often use today to canoeing in the famous gorge.
Thursday
Group options day. By now we’ll know more about you and the rides that you love (/hate!). We have hundreds of routes available for this tailored day.
Friday. Bedoin to Apt via Mont Ventoux.

The route map shows the full climb from 300m to 1850m and then a long afternoon of descents and flat riding in the vineyards of the Rhone Valley. It’s a different kind of day but a great opportunity to take in some new scenery the climb can easily be shortened if needs be.
