With limited time to get a good dose of sunshine and exercise, the Ardèche is the perfect destination and Evasion Travel is here to help.
We are close to several major transport hubs and whatever you want to achieve on your short break, we will be working with you to tailor the experience.

Our service starts as soon as you contact us, ensuring that the enquiries and booking process goes as smoothly as the trip itself. We’ll pick you up at the airport in our licensed mini busses, arrange your activities and instruction and provide accommodation to suit your budget.

| Day 3 | …and out again! After a night under the stars you will wake and have plenty of time to get packed up and going again. More rapids, beaches and spectacular scenery await as you complete the descent of the Ardèche Gorge. |
| Day 4 | Optional Activity and Departure If your travel schedule permits we can often squeeze in a detour to local sights or even a trip to the ropes course or caves among many more options… |
Camping in the Ardèche Gorge Bivouac site – a guide…
On the 2 day canoe trip you will spend a night camping in the Gorge. This takes place at one of only two official campsites in the Gorge National Park. Sites are staffed and have emergency access.
Normal access to the sites is by canoe. 16km of open paddling and short rapids make for a fun-filled day to arrive at your site. Having pulled your canoes up onto the beach you take your waterproof river barrels (provided by us) full of your supplies and find a spot to make camp. Toilets, showers and barbecues are provided for your use.
As night closes in the sights and sounds of the gorge change as the night foragers begin to stir and the moonlight reflects off the limestone cliffs. Some guests choose to take a tent, others just a tarp and many just sleep under a canopy of stars. We provide camping equipment for all of our guests.
Morning brings a huge chorus from the waking forest and you will have plenty of time to rise, wash and eat before packing up and getting back onto the river for another day of paddling and taking on the rapids of the Ardèche Gorge. There are lots of opportunities to stop for swimming, sunbathing and picnics.
When you exit the gorge at St Martin d’Ardèche we will collect you and transport you back to your accommodation or on to your next destination…

A note on Ardeche Stag and hen weekends…
We have done loads of stag and hen weekends and found that they can be really good fun and totally harmless. These trips are best run in early or late summer and are designed for those that want to get away and enjoy some time with their mates before the big day. Some groups like to start or end their trip with a big night out in a nearby city and this can be arranged. If it’s just big nights out that your group is after then this probably is not the trip for you! Drop us a line to arrange a memorable getaway.
