| Saturday | Arrival and Orientation We will collect you from local airports and will be on hand to get you settled in and ready for the week ahead… |
| Sunday | Viewpoint Hike and Canoeing. The morning stroll takes you to stunning viewpoints above the river that you will canoe down later. |
| Monday | Vallon Visit and Ropes Course. A pleasant walk to the main town and a chance to look around followed by an afternoon of high-adrenaline challenges at the treetop ropes course. |
| Tuesday | Horse Riding and Swimming Cross rivers, vineyards and orchards before taking some time out for river swimming and accompanied walks… |
| Wednesday option 1 | Avignon Excursion We head off via the famous Pont du Gard aqueduct to the Medieval city of Avignon for a day of colour and culture. |
| Wednesday option 2 | 2-Day Canoe Descent With camping gear and canoe equipment provided by us you make a stop for supplies before paddling deep into the gorge for the night. More info below. |
| Thursday option 1 | Options Day A day to yourselves. Canoeing, cycling, walking, lazing or exploring… Transport to Vallon Pont d’Arc provided. (Activities not included in holiday price). |

Other Information
The 2-day canoe descent. This is an unguided trip with equipment and river introduction provided. There is a €40/person supplement for this trip. Participants will also need to purchase food supplies. More information on camping in the gorge – from our ‘Ardèche Classic Break’ page!
Local transport is provided by us. Family weeks are usually hosted at our hotel with breakfast and five dinners included. Self catered options are available. For the budget-conscious, self drive camping options are available.
Lunches are not included. Typically we use local restaurants or have riverside/forest picnics.
Note that Children under 7 years are not permitted on the Ardèche River. Small children may be restricted on cycling, ropes course and horse riding days but will still be very much involved!
